• We make it easy for you to open an account abroad. We provide you with the application forms to be completed, we arrange for the account to be opened in the country requested in accordance with local rules and regulations. In case copies of your valid passport or other identification are required, you will be informed in detail
• We make procedures for opening the account and acquiring cards and cheque books faster. Depending on the country you would like to bank with and according to local legislation and regulations, your accounts can be opened in five days (three days for HSBC Premier customers), and cheque books, debit or credit cards can be provided within 20 days (10 days for HSBC Premier customers). Bank accounts vary around the world but we will do our best to make things easier for you
• We provide assistance in order for you to receive a credit facility in the country you choose on condition you maintain a similar credit facility with HSBC Greece which is conducted satisfactorily for at least one year. You could receive a similar level of credit as you do in Greece, up to the equivalent of 5.000 Euro (subject to local terms and conditions). This limit does not apply to Premier customers
• We provide you with detailed information to get in touch with HSBC in the country of your choice. Around the world, HSBC understands the needs of international customers and provides assistance and guidance
