HSBC Mobile Banking app

Download the HSBC app (HSBC Greece) from the App Store (for Apple devices) or from Google Play (for Android™ devices) and install it. After you download it, you can sign in to the Mobile Banking service with a 6-digit code, which you will be prompted to create when you first open the application.

The app can be used on smartphones and tablets. It is available on iPhones®, iPads®, iPad Minis and iPod Touches with an operating system of iOS 13.0 or higher, and on Androids™ with an operating system of 7.0 or higher.

You will need to be online at all times when downloading or using the app.

We recommend that your mobile device is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi when you download the app. Downloading when connected to the internet through your mobile network may take longer and incur extra charges from your network provider. The apps can be found at the Apple App Store (for Apple devices) and from Google Play™ for (Android™ devices). To download the mobile app, search by typing 'HSBC Greece' and choose the App with the HSBC logo. Once the app download is complete, click on the 'Install' button to complete installation.

Download speed will depend on the strength of your connection to the internet and the capacity at the app stores. Once downloaded, additional data will be downloaded on your first log on, with a message saying 'updated' which will result in a slower log on time. Subsequent logons will be quicker.

We are introducing a simpler and more secure way to logon to mobile banking. The first time you open the app, we will need to verify your identity before you create your 6 digit PIN.

You can verify your identity in one of two ways:

• Using your online banking Username and password, you will receive a one-time activation code (SMS OTP) to your mobile device to help us confirm your identity.
• Using your online banking username and security device

After you have been verified, you will be prompted to create a 6-digit PIN which you will only need to log on to the mobile banking app

You can reset your password through online banking by select the option "Forgotten your password" after enter your username during logon. To complete the process you'll then need to call us in order to activate your new sign-in details.
